In October this year Phillips in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work Finding a park to nap in by Kristy Chan. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 215,900.00 (€ 26,109.03), 44% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Kristy Chan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Weather Going Bananas, which sold at auction in December 2021 for GBP 60,480.00 (€ 72,139.95).

Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Phillips in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Finding a park to nap in von Kristy Chan zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 215.900,00 (€ 26.109,03) und damit 44% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Kristy Chan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Weather Going Bananas beobachtet, die im Dezember 2021 für GBP 60.480,00 (€ 72.139,95) versteigert wurde.
