The work Chandelier and Dim Sum Buffet by Kristy Chan was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale in association with Yongle auction at Phillips in Hong Kong in November last year. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 201,600.00 (€ 25,016.91), 68% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Kristy Chan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Weather Going Bananas, which sold at auction in December 2021 for GBP 60,480.00 (€ 72,139.95).

Die Arbeit Chandelier and Dim Sum Buffet von Kristy Chan wurde im November letzten Jahres in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art & Design Day Sale in association with Yongle bei Phillips in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 201.600,00 (€ 25.016,91) und damit 68% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Kristy Chan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Weather Going Bananas beobachtet, die im Dezember 2021 für GBP 60.480,00 (€ 72.139,95) versteigert wurde.
