Auction result well in line with expectations
In October last year Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Contemporary Art & Design, which included the work "Untitled (Dumpster 13)", 2011. by Klara Lidén. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of SEK 60,000.00 – 80,000.00, the actual price achieved of SEK 65,000.00 (€ 5,947.76) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Klara Lidén achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Poster Painting) in February 2015 with an auction result of GBP 143,000.00 (€ 197,175.76).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober letzten Jahres führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Contemporary Art & Design durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Untitled (Dumpster 13)", 2011. von Klara Lidén zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von SEK 65.000,00 (€ 5.947,76) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Klara Lidén erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Poster Painting) im Februar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 143.000,00 (€ 197.175,76).
