Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Klaas Gubbels was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2003. The price achieved of EUR 2,987.50 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Klaas Gubbels - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tafel met kan en trechter, which sold at auction in June 2004 for EUR 8,962.50.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Klaas Gubbels kam im November 2003 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.987,50 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Klaas Gubbels mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Tafel met kan en trechter beobachtet, die im Juni 2004 für EUR 8.962,50 versteigert wurde.
