Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Målarjacka by Kjartan Slettemark was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in May 2010, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 15,000.00 – 20,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 12,000.00 (€ 1,244.72). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kjartan Slettemark achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Id-kort" in May 2016 with an auction result of SEK 120,000.00 (€ 12,921.42).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Målarjacka von Kjartan Slettemark im Mai 2010 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 12.000,00 (€ 1.244,72) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kjartan Slettemark erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Id-kort" im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 120.000,00 (€ 12.921,42).
