A top price for Kishio Suga - as previously expected
In December 2020 Bonhams in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Protrusion Series "Gaps in Surroundings" by Kishio Suga. The price achieved of HKD 627,500.00 (€ 66,187.65) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 500,000.00 – 800,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Protrusion Series "Gaps in Surroundings" is the most expensive artwork by Kishio Suga that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Dezember 2020 führte Bonhams in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Protrusion Series "Gaps in Surroundings" von Kishio Suga zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 627.500,00 (€ 66.187,65) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 500.000,00 – 800.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Protrusion Series "Gaps in Surroundings" das teuerste Kunstwerk von Kishio Suga, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
