Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Surrounded Space 18 by Kishio Suga was sold in the Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2018. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 32,500.00 (€ 3,550.77). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kishio Suga achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Protrusion Series "Gaps in Surroundings" in December 2020 with an auction result of HKD 627,500.00 (€ 66,187.65).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Surrounded Space 18 von Kishio Suga wurde im Mai 2018 in der Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 32.500,00 (€ 3.550,77) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kishio Suga erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Protrusion Series "Gaps in Surroundings" im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 627.500,00 (€ 66.187,65).
