Sold at the upper estimate price
The work Separation and Conjunction - Occupied Existence by Kishio Suga was sold in the Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2017. The auction ended at the price of HKD 100,000.00 (€ 10,766.52), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 50,000.00 – 100,000.00. Admittedly, works by Kishio Suga have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Protrusion Series "Gaps in Surroundings" in December 2020 with an auction result of HKD 627,500.00 (€ 66,187.65).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Separation and Conjunction - Occupied Existence von Kishio Suga wurde im November 2017 in der Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 100.000,00 (€ 10.766,52) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 50.000,00 – 100.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kishio Suga auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Protrusion Series "Gaps in Surroundings" im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 627.500,00 (€ 66.187,65).
