Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Supplemented Material - 34 by Kishio Suga was sold in the Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2017. The price achieved of HKD 100,000.00 (€ 10,766.52) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 60,000.00 – 120,000.00. Admittedly, works by Kishio Suga have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Protrusion Series "Gaps in Surroundings" in December 2020 with an auction result of HKD 627,500.00 (€ 66,187.65).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Supplemented Material - 34 von Kishio Suga wurde im November 2017 in der Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 100.000,00 (€ 10.766,52) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 60.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kishio Suga auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Protrusion Series "Gaps in Surroundings" im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 627.500,00 (€ 66.187,65).
