Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Edge Configuration(Painted In 1993) by Kishio Suga was sold in the Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art auction at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2019. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 200,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 212,400.00 (€ 24,277.01). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Kishio Suga - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Protrusion Series "Gaps in Surroundings", which sold at auction in December 2020 for HKD 627,500.00 (€ 66,187.65).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Edge Configuration(Painted In 1993) von Kishio Suga wurde im Oktober 2019 in der Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art bei China Guardian in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 200.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 212.400,00 (€ 24.277,01) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Kishio Suga mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Protrusion Series "Gaps in Surroundings" beobachtet, die im Dezember 2020 für HKD 627.500,00 (€ 66.187,65) versteigert wurde.
