The work The Other Side of the Middle by Kishio Suga was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2018. It achieved a price of HKD 118,750.00 (€ 13,403.03), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 40%. Admittedly, works by Kishio Suga have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Protrusion Series "Gaps in Surroundings" in December 2020 with an auction result of HKD 627,500.00 (€ 66,187.65).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 40 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit The Other Side of the Middle von Kishio Suga kam im November 2018 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 118.750,00 (€ 13.403,03) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 40%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kishio Suga auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Protrusion Series "Gaps in Surroundings" im Dezember 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 627.500,00 (€ 66.187,65).
