Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Duet-Fowl by Kim Joon was sold in the PHOTOGRAPHS auction at Phillips in New York in April 2010. The price achieved of USD 6,250.00 (€ 4,698.54) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Kim Joon have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Blue Fish in May 2015 with an auction result of GBP 21,875.00 (€ 30,414.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Duet-Fowl von Kim Joon wurde im April 2010 in der Auktion PHOTOGRAPHS bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.250,00 (€ 4.698,54) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kim Joon auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Blue Fish im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 21.875,00 (€ 30.414,89).
