Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Birdland - Swarovski by Kim Joon was auctioned at Phillips in New York in April 2009. It achieved a price of USD 9,375.00 (€ 7,078.68), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Admittedly, works by Kim Joon have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Blue Fish in May 2015 with an auction result of GBP 21,875.00 (€ 30,414.89).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Birdland - Swarovski von Kim Joon kam im April 2009 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 9.375,00 (€ 7.078,68) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kim Joon auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Blue Fish im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 21.875,00 (€ 30.414,89).
