Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2019 China Guardian in Hong Kong held the auction Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art, which included the work Pew Boy(Painted In 1974) by Key Hiraga. The price achieved of HKD 70,800.00 (€ 8,033.42) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Key Hiraga achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fenetre (Window) in March 2018 with an auction result of HKD 875,000.00 (€ 90,482.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2019 führte China Guardian in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pew Boy(Painted In 1974) von Key Hiraga zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 70.800,00 (€ 8.033,42) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Key Hiraga erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Fenetre (Window) im März 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 875.000,00 (€ 90.482,95).
