Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Knot by Kenzo Okada was auctioned at Christies in New York in January 2008. Here, the upper estimate of USD 25,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 27,400.00 (€ 18,462.37). Admittedly, works by Kenzo Okada have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Homage in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 125,000.00 (€ 107,112.25).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Knot von Kenzo Okada kam im Januar 2008 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 25.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 27.400,00 (€ 18.462,37) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kenzo Okada auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Homage im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 125.000,00 (€ 107.112,25).
