Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Three Still Life Images, 1993-1994 by Kenro Izu was sold in the Photographs auction at Christies in New York in October 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 6,250.00 (€ 5,515.35) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Kenro Izu have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2018 the work Agra #43, India (Taj Mahal) was auctioned for USD 11,875.00 (€ 9,638.80).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Three Still Life Images, 1993-1994 von Kenro Izu wurde im Oktober 2018 in der Auktion Photographs bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 6.250,00 (€ 5.515,35) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Kenro Izu konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März 2018 die Arbeit Agra #43, India (Taj Mahal) für USD 11.875,00 (€ 9.638,80) versteigert.
