Sold at the upper estimate price
The work Still Life #557, 1996 by Kenro Izu was auctioned at Christies in New York in April 2010. The auction ended at the price of USD 6,000.00 (€ 4,510.60), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Kenro Izu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Agra #43, India (Taj Mahal), which sold at auction in March 2018 for USD 11,875.00 (€ 9,638.80).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Still Life #557, 1996 von Kenro Izu kam im April 2010 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 6.000,00 (€ 4.510,60) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Kenro Izu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Agra #43, India (Taj Mahal) beobachtet, die im März 2018 für USD 11.875,00 (€ 9.638,80) versteigert wurde.
