Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Reborn by Kenneth Noland was auctioned at Phillips in New York in May this year. It changed hands for a price of USD 114,300.00 (€ 107,283.65) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kenneth Noland achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rocker in May 2021 with an auction result of USD 4,255,000.00 (€ 3,489,421.03).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Reborn von Kenneth Noland kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 114.300,00 (€ 107.283,65) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kenneth Noland erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rocker im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 4.255.000,00 (€ 3.489.421,03).
