Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 4.375,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kees Verwey auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit De Stoel In De Zon (Atelier Impressie) im Juni 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 82.250,00 (€ 39.533,19).
