Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March 2012 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Nineteen to Now, which included the work Still life with flowers by Kees Verwey. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 3,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 3,750.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kees Verwey achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work De Stoel In De Zon (Atelier Impressie) in June 2001 with an auction result of NLG 82,250.00 (€ 39,533.19).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März 2012 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Nineteen to Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still life with flowers von Kees Verwey zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 3.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 3.750,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kees Verwey erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit De Stoel In De Zon (Atelier Impressie) im Juni 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 82.250,00 (€ 39.533,19).
