The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work De Stoel In De Zon (Atelier Impressie) in June 2001 with an auction result of NLG 82,250.00 (€ 39,533.19).

Die Arbeit Flowers in a vase von Kees Verwey kam im November 2011 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 2.750,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 38 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kees Verwey erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit De Stoel In De Zon (Atelier Impressie) im Juni 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 82.250,00 (€ 39.533,19).
