Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2015 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction, which included the work Zero Case Spinner (Gun, Metal) by Kaz Oshiro. The price achieved of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 17,720.80) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Kaz Oshiro - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work File Cabinets (black/black), which sold at auction in November 2014 for USD 52,500.00 (€ 42,209.36).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2015 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Zero Case Spinner (Gun, Metal) von Kaz Oshiro zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 17.720,80) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Kaz Oshiro mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit File Cabinets (black/black) beobachtet, die im November 2014 für USD 52.500,00 (€ 42.209,36) versteigert wurde.
