Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Kay Rosen could be acquired at Phillips in New York in June 2010 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Editions auction, the work The Man changed hands for USD 750.00 (€ 610.20) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kay Rosen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Halfull in March 2014 with an auction result of USD 10,625.00 (€ 7,712.13).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Kay Rosen konnte im Juni 2010 bei Phillips in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Editions wechselte die Arbeit The Man für USD 750,00 (€ 610,20) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kay Rosen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Halfull im März 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 10.625,00 (€ 7.712,13).
