Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2020 Sothebys in New York held the auction The Ginny Williams Collection: Part II, which included the work Lists Suite by Kay Rosen. The price achieved of USD 625.00 (€ 530.83) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kay Rosen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Halfull in March 2014 with an auction result of USD 10,625.00 (€ 7,712.13).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2020 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion The Ginny Williams Collection: Part II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lists Suite von Kay Rosen zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 625,00 (€ 530,83) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 500,00 – 700,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kay Rosen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Halfull im März 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 10.625,00 (€ 7.712,13).
