The »bidding war« ended at USD 17,500.00 (€ 12,938.05), 17% above the upper estimate. Other works by Kate Brinkworth have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 18,125.00 (€ 21,269.08) in June 2009 for the work Green and Gold Dice.
