Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2014 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Joker, Lady Luck And Hard Rock by Kate Brinkworth. The price achieved of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,549.65) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Kate Brinkworth have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Green and Gold Dice in June 2009 with an auction result of GBP 18,125.00 (€ 21,269.08).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar 2014 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Joker, Lady Luck And Hard Rock von Kate Brinkworth zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.549,65) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Kate Brinkworth auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Green and Gold Dice im Juni 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 18.125,00 (€ 21.269,08).
