Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Kate Brinkworth could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in August 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Eclectic | New York auction, the work Black and White Still changed hands for USD 1,512.00 (€ 1,281.36) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kate Brinkworth achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Green and Gold Dice in June 2009 with an auction result of GBP 18,125.00 (€ 21,269.08).
