Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Let's Have by Karla Black was sold in the Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Auction auction at Christies in London in February 2016. The price achieved of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,805.16) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Karla Black - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Unpreventable Within, which sold at auction in October 2013 for GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,819.92).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Let's Have von Karla Black wurde im Februar 2016 in der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Auction bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.805,16) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Karla Black mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Unpreventable Within beobachtet, die im Oktober 2013 für GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.819,92) versteigert wurde.
