Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Division Is by Karla Black for GBP 1,375.00 (€ 1,614.59). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art Online | London at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Karla Black have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Unpreventable Within in October 2013 with an auction result of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,819.92).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Division Is von Karla Black für GBP 1.375,00 (€ 1.614,59) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art Online | London bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Karla Black auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Unpreventable Within im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.819,92).
