Auction result misses estimated price range
In June last year a collector was able to acquire the work Mokkatasse by Karl Hubbuch for GBP 1,400.00 (€ 1,626.40). This price was achieved in the auction Impressionist and Modern Art Day and Works on Paper Sale at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Karl Hubbuch achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Akt im Badezimmer in February 2003 with an auction result of GBP 81,260.00 (€ 118,637.04).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Mokkatasse von Karl Hubbuch für GBP 1.400,00 (€ 1.626,40) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Day and Works on Paper Sale bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Karl Hubbuch erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Akt im Badezimmer im Februar 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 81.260,00 (€ 118.637,04).
