The work The Parasol by Karl Albert Buehr was sold in the American Paintings auction at Sothebys in New York in March 2009. The »bidding war« ended at USD 53,125.00 (€ 40,061.08), 33% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Karl Albert Buehr have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work On the Terrace in March 2008 with an auction result of USD 409,000.00 (€ 258,778.87).

Die Arbeit The Parasol von Karl Albert Buehr wurde im März 2009 in der Auktion American Paintings bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 53.125,00 (€ 40.061,08) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Karl Albert Buehr auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit On the Terrace im März 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 409.000,00 (€ 258.778,87).
