Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Artist'S Daughter Lydia Painting A Watercolor by Karl Albert Buehr was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2009. The price achieved of USD 10,000.00 (€ 7,540.91) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Karl Albert Buehr achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work On the Terrace in March 2008 with an auction result of USD 409,000.00 (€ 258,778.87).

Die Arbeit The Artist'S Daughter Lydia Painting A Watercolor von Karl Albert Buehr kam im März 2009 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 7.540,91) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Karl Albert Buehr erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit On the Terrace im März 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 409.000,00 (€ 258.778,87).
