Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Karl Albert Buehr could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in March 2009 for an unexpectedly low price. In the American Paintings auction, the work Girl Seated On A Tree changed hands for USD 3,750.00 (€ 2,827.84) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Karl Albert Buehr achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work On the Terrace in March 2008 with an auction result of USD 409,000.00 (€ 258,778.87).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Karl Albert Buehr konnte im März 2009 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion American Paintings wechselte die Arbeit Girl Seated On A Tree für USD 3.750,00 (€ 2.827,84) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Karl Albert Buehr erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit On the Terrace im März 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 409.000,00 (€ 258.778,87).
