The upper estimate was set at a - in retrospect quite modest - USD 35,000.00 but the actual price achieved was more than 11 times as high at USD 409,000.00 (€ 258,778.87). This high result makes On the Terrace the most expensive artwork by Karl Albert Buehr that we have observed at auctions so far.
