This price was achieved in the auction Impressionist & Modern Art at Sothebys in New York and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of USD 500.00 many times over. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Karina Ami - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Witch, which sold at auction in March 2021 for USD 5,670.00 (€ 4,828.41).
