Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Karina Ami could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in June 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Impressionist & Modern Art auction, the work Kangaroos changed hands for USD 1,386.00 (€ 1,169.82) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Karina Ami have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Witch in March 2021 with an auction result of USD 5,670.00 (€ 4,828.41).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Karina Ami konnte im Juni 2021 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art wechselte die Arbeit Kangaroos für USD 1.386,00 (€ 1.169,82) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Karina Ami auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Witch im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 5.670,00 (€ 4.828,41).
