Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Karina Ami could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in June 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Impressionist & Modern Art auction, the work Koala Bears changed hands for USD 252.00 (€ 212.69) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 300.00 – 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Karina Ami achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Witch in March 2021 with an auction result of USD 5,670.00 (€ 4,828.41).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Karina Ami konnte im Juni 2021 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art wechselte die Arbeit Koala Bears für USD 252,00 (€ 212,69) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 300,00 – 500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Karina Ami erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Witch im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 5.670,00 (€ 4.828,41).
