In May 2012 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction The Spring Contemporary, Stockholm, which included this untitled work by Karin Wikström. The »bidding war« ended at SEK 9,000.00 (€ 950.66), 50% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Karin Wikström have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Utan titel in November 2014 with an auction result of SEK 48,000.00 (€ 5,175.11).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Im Mai 2012 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion The Spring Contemporary, Stockholm durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Karin Wikström zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SEK 9.000,00 (€ 950,66) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Karin Wikström auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Utan titel im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 48.000,00 (€ 5.175,11).
