Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled. by Karin Wikström was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in September this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of SEK 8,000.00 – 10,000.00, the actual price achieved of SEK 8,500.00 (€ 737.24) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Karin Wikström have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Utan titel in November 2014 with an auction result of SEK 48,000.00 (€ 5,175.11).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled. von Karin Wikström kam im September diesen Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 8.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von SEK 8.500,00 (€ 737,24) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Karin Wikström auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Utan titel im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 48.000,00 (€ 5.175,11).
