In June 2007 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art, Day, which included the work Italic Eggs (No Two Eggs Are The Same) by Karin Sander. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 5,400.00 (€ 8,013.33), 35% above the upper estimate. Other works by Karin Sander have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of EUR 9,375.00 in July 2021 for the work „Patina-Bild Nr. 35“.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 35 % übertroffen
Im Juni 2007 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art, Day durch, in der auch die Arbeit Italic Eggs (No Two Eggs Are The Same) von Karin Sander zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 5.400,00 (€ 8.013,33) und damit 35% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Karin Sander haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von EUR 9.375,00 im Juli 2021 für die Arbeit „Patina-Bild Nr. 35“ beobachtet.
