A triptych of hanging scrolls in ink on silk, the central painting depicting the exiled Chinese writer and statesman Su Shi (also known by his art name of Dongpo, Japanese: So Tōba) riding a rule, flanked by two paintings of Chinese-style landscapes, each signed Tan'yūsai hitsu and sealed Morinobu
With an old wood box inscribed Tan'yūsai sanpukutsui (Tan'yū triptych)
