Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Full Moon by Kadhim Haider was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art auction at Bonhams in London in May this year. It changed hands for a price of GBP 17,920.00 (€ 20,850.04) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 14,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kadhim Haider achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Al Qamar in May this year with an auction result of GBP 635,400.00 (€ 739,292.13).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Full Moon von Kadhim Haider wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 17.920,00 (€ 20.850,04) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 14.000,00 – 18.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kadhim Haider erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Al Qamar im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 635.400,00 (€ 739.292,13).
