Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bleeding Moon by Kadhim Haider was auctioned at Bonhams in London in May this year. The price achieved of GBP 20,480.00 (€ 23,828.62) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 16,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kadhim Haider achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Al Qamar in May this year with an auction result of GBP 635,400.00 (€ 739,292.13).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Bleeding Moon von Kadhim Haider kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 20.480,00 (€ 23.828,62) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 16.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kadhim Haider erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Al Qamar im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 635.400,00 (€ 739.292,13).
