Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2021 Bonhams in London held the auction Middle Eastern Art Online Sale, which included the work Baghdad Silhouettes by Kadhim Haider. It changed hands for a price of GBP 2,295.00 (€ 2,696.03) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kadhim Haider achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Al Qamar in May this year with an auction result of GBP 635,400.00 (€ 739,292.13).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2021 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Middle Eastern Art Online Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Baghdad Silhouettes von Kadhim Haider zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 2.295,00 (€ 2.696,03) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kadhim Haider erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Al Qamar im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 635.400,00 (€ 739.292,13).
