Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Fake Richter by Jumaldi Alfi was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2013. The price achieved of HKD 300,000.00 (€ 29,366.65) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 240,000.00 – 380,000.00. Other works by Jumaldi Alfi have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2008 the work Colour Guide Serie: Homage To Martin Kippenberger was auctioned for HKD 500,000.00 (€ 50,859.49).
