Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 6,250.00 (€ 5,055.00). Admittedly, works by Julie Heffernan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Self Portrait As Arms And The Men in May 2012 with an auction result of USD 56,250.00 (€ 45,494.99).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Study for Self-Portrait with Thorn in My Toe von Julie Heffernan kam im Mai 2012 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 6.250,00 (€ 5.055,00) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Julie Heffernan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Self Portrait As Arms And The Men im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 56.250,00 (€ 45.494,99).
