Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Judy Rifka could be acquired at Bonhams in July this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Post-War & Contemporary Art Online auction, the work Chifton (History of Sculpture) changed hands for USD 320.00 (€ 290.38) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Judy Rifka achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Museum in November 2000 with an auction result of USD 3,525.00 (€ 4,054.52).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Judy Rifka konnte im Juli diesen Jahres bei Bonhams für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Online wechselte die Arbeit Chifton (History of Sculpture) für USD 320,00 (€ 290,38) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Judy Rifka erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Museum im November 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 3.525,00 (€ 4.054,52).
