Auction result misses estimated price range
In January 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work Drummer by Judy Rifka for USD 500.00 (€ 336.90). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Judy Rifka achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Museum in November 2000 with an auction result of USD 3,525.00 (€ 4,054.52).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Januar 2008 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Drummer von Judy Rifka für USD 500,00 (€ 336,90) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Judy Rifka erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Museum im November 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 3.525,00 (€ 4.054,52).
