Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled, 1981; also a companion drawing by Judy Rifka was sold in the The House Sale auction at Christies in New York in July 2004. The price achieved of USD 537.75 (€ 446.93) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 400.00 – 600.00. Admittedly, works by Judy Rifka have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Museum in November 2000 with an auction result of USD 3,525.00 (€ 4,054.52).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled, 1981; also a companion drawing von Judy Rifka wurde im Juli 2004 in der Auktion The House Sale bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 537,75 (€ 446,93) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Judy Rifka auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Museum im November 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 3.525,00 (€ 4.054,52).
