Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Yechiam by Joseph Zaritsky was auctioned at Christies in Tel Aviv in May 2005. The price achieved of USD 6,600.00 (€ 5,344.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joseph Zaritsky achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Painting - Flowers in October 2003 with an auction result of USD 86,040.00 (€ 74,114.91).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Yechiam von Joseph Zaritsky kam im Mai 2005 bei Christies in Tel Aviv zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.600,00 (€ 5.344,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joseph Zaritsky erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Painting - Flowers im Oktober 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 86.040,00 (€ 74.114,91).
